You have a small number of employees that have been affected by a traumatic incident. Maybe you've had an armed robbery or a co-worker has died suddenly, and you're wondering how best to help your staff. An SSI-trained Crisis Support Consultant will be assigned to provide the telephone support services requested. We select only the best... shouldn't you?

Extended telephone support for grief and loss

You just learned that an employee's parents were tragically killed in a car accident – what supportive service can you offer them? SSI's extended telephone support is offered specifically for grief and loss issues. Our SSI-trained grief and loss support consultants will provide up to six telephone support contacts for each employee dealing with these issues. This not only shows your corporate care and concern, but it educates your employees on the normal phases of the grief and loss process, thus accelerating their recovery.

(Extended telephone support services should not be confused with therapy. Telephone support services provide educational information, resources for support and focus on individual strengths and connecting with support networks. If an employee requires additional services, they will be referred to a pre-determined company or EAP contact)

On-site crisis support services

A plane crash, a loss of life, a change in management – all unexpected events that may have an impact on the organizational or individual functioning. What do you do to show support and accelerate the return to normal business practice?

By contacting SSI we can help you determine when and what type of on-site service is most beneficial to your employees.

SSI offers two types of on-site Crisis Support Services. Each can be individualized to the needs of your company culture.

  1. On-site crisis support – Highly trained Crisis Support Consultants will be assigned to provide group or individual crisis support services.


  2. On-site "Plus" Support – Highly trained Crisis Support Consultants will be assigned to provide group or individual crisis support services. These on-site services are followed by one telephone support contact for each individual or group member that would agree to a follow up telephone support contact (generally placed within 10-14 days).
