Tonya Teal Slawinski, Ph.D. is president and owner of Supportive Solutions, Inc., a firm specializing in crisis management, response and consultation. Dr. Slawinski has provided crisis management training for Fortune 100 and 500 companies nationally since 2000 and crisis response services since 1990. In conjunction with leading experts in the field, she participated in the development of training and best practice standards for crisis response consultants. Dr. Slawinski developed a strengths-based approach for response to crisis which is utilized by Supportive Solutions and has been adopted by EAPs and companies nationally. This approach promotes management and employee resiliency and competency in managing the aftermath of traumatic events.
Dr. Slawinski has served as an adjunct faculty member for the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work since 1996 and California University since 2006. She continues to devote her time to the development of best practices in crisis management and response services as well as leading Supportive Solutions’ growth in the industry.
